About Us

As owners of Finish Line Cycling, we share a lifelong passion of cycling which positively takes up a majority of our lives! We avidly follow professional cycling news and watch racing coverage in person, online and on television.
We live and breathe cycling.  We have ridden both mountain and road bikes for decades. Racing results include small town races in Wisconsin, and larger, well-known circuits in Ohio, Montana, and Colorado, as well as throughout Germany. For several years we have participated in many organized rides including Triple-By Pass, Elephant Rock, Buffalo Classic, and Ronde van Vvlanderen Cyclosportif. We do frequent rides through hilly valleys, meandering along clear streams, and climbing steep roads throughout the Rocky Mountains all year long. Cycling is in our blood!

Meet the Guides

John:
As manager of Bike Belgium, John has been riding for over thirty years and is geared up to lead another tour. His first bike was a Huffy, which he soon customized by removing all of the stickers, and painting it solid black.  After learning how to ride his personalized creation up the hills to his house, he realized he loved his new freedom and speed, and began riding more frequently. Since then he has been racing all over the United States and even a little in Europe.  His passion shows through as he tells tales about the latest race he participated in, recent tour coverage on TV, or yesterday's club ride.  Knowing the effort it takes to win as a professional is inspiring and enjoyable to him, and helps him keep focused on his own training goals.  He can be found riding with his local club or leading training camps in early spring.  John’s warm and friendly smile will help you go the extra mile on the bike and you will realize his enthusiasm is contagious.

Lynnda:
Owner of Finish Line Cycling, Lynnda is the hub of the business.  She is responsible for the administrative functions of the company and makes sure all trips are organized and running smoothly.  She has been riding for twenty years but still has fond memories of her first bike which was powder-puff blue with five speeds, yes…five.  Lynnda rides to relax from the daily grind, and joins the weekly club rides around town to keep up with her climbing skills.  She has switched gears from racing, and is now managing tours, creating customized itineraries for private groups, and leading training camps.

Geert:
Geert joins us from Belgium and is one of our local guides we can count on to lead the way.  He has been riding for over forty years and will continue to enjoy the road for many years to come.  His favorite ride was the La Marmotte, a little one-day ride with a few climbs in the Alps of France, including the legendary Alpe d'Huez.  His favorite pros he continues to keep an eye on are Tom Boonen, Filip Meirhaeghe, and Bart Wellens.  He believes what makes bike riding so fun is the pure freedom, nature, good company, and of course, the beer afterwards.

John T:
Another one of our tour guides is John T, who believes in riding so he can eat pop-tarts, and drink one of 800 Belgian beers.  He's not selective when it comes to recovering after a long ride, as he will drink anything from an Abbey Ale, to a Stout, Lambic, Trappist, or even a Flemish Red.  You never know what he has in his water bottle!  John is an epic rider who loves experiencing the world on bike, and one of his many accomplishments include mountain biking through the Indian Himalayas.
