Beer Bikes and Belgium
Date: September 10-17, 2012
Length: 8 days/7 nights
Price: $4,700 (USD)
The world’s best beer undoubtedly comes from Belgium, a small country the size of Maryland. Throughout this wheat-filled , hop-growing territory a large variety of beer is produced from hundreds of tiny breweries. Small family-operated facilities can often bottle dozens of labels, while a monastery may only focus on one variety.

In conjunction with learning the differences between a Trappist beer, a Flemish Red, or a Lambic, you will also ride your bike around the cobbled roads of ancient Belgium. If you have ever wanted to ride Mur de Kapplemuur, Koppenberg, or the Bosberg, you will get your chance during the Beer Bikes and Belgium cycling tour.
Experience Beer, Bikes, and Belgium
Ride the worn cobblestones in Belgium and climb the legendary Koppenberg, Kemmelberg, and de Muur van Geraardsbergen Muur-Kapelmuur). The tour includes a look at cycling history at the Ronde Van Vlaanderen Cycling Museum and visits to unique regional breweries. If you are a Cascade Bicycle Club member you can find out more information about the beer tour offered just for you.
