Beer Bikes and Belgium - For Cascade Bicycle Club
Date: September 17-24, 2012
Length: 8 days/7 nights
Price: $3,700 (USD)
Exclusive for Cascade Bicycle Club, our Beer Bikes and Belgium tour is unique in every way. Belgium is a cycling paradise with its quiet streets, narrow roads, and specific cycling routes. The Spring Classics professional bike races showcase the cobbled hills, steep climbs, and precarious descents each March and April.

Ride the worn cobblestones in Belgium and climb the legendary Koppenberg, Kemmelberg, Bosberg, and de Muur van Geraardsbergen (Muur-Kapelmuur) which are used in the Tour of Flanders. Late in the week ride in the hilly Ardennes, home of the Liege-Bastogne-Liege pro bike race. Equipped with lush green forests, hills and steep climbs, you will enjoy the valleys and landscape along the Meuse River basin.
Experience Beer, Bikes, and Belgium
The tour includes a look at cycling history at the Ronde Van Vlaanderen Cycling Museum where you will interact with many exhibits, attempt your trivia knowledge, and even try racing a bike to the top of the Oude Kwaremont.

For beer lovers on the tour you will get to visit distinctive regional breweries characteristic of the area. Raise your glass to a hearty Belgian beer at each brewery we visit and learn about the various types of the world's best beer. When you’re not learning the differences between a Trappist beer, a Flemish Red, or a Lambic, you will be sampling a variety of select, and sometimes exclusive brews. Small family-operated facilities can often bottle dozens of labels, while a monastery may only focus on one variety. Throughout this wheat-filled, hop-growing territory a large variety of beer is produced from hundreds of tiny breweries.
Ride your bike around the cobbled roads of ancient Belgium. Sample some of the world’s best beer. Sign up today to reserve your spot.
