An extended cycling vacation in Belgium and France is an ideal way to follow the Spring Classics in 2012.  By spending almost two weeks watching racing and riding the same cobbles the professional cyclists do, you will get an appreciation of the grueling terrain the pro’s ride to compete in a one-day cycling battle.

During the Cobbles Unlimited Tour, we will follow significant Spring Classics races including Paris-Roubaix, the Ronde van Vlaanderen (Tour of Flanders), and the Grote Scheldeprijs.  Cities visited include Roubaix in France, as well as Brussels, Antwerpen, Kortrijk, and many other towns in northern Belgium. You will have an opportunity to climb the cobbles.  Lots of them.  Face cobblestone roads in both France and Belgium, then contemplate which sections were the most brutal.

Several rides will be done in the Flemish Ardennes where the countryside is made of rolling landscapes and cobbled roads.  You will stay in charming, local towns that will help you feel submerged in culture. This long trip allows you enough time to experience genuine European culture, making your tour full of adventure.

The Cobbles Unlimited Tour includes your registration for the Ronde van Vlaanderen Cyclosportive, which draws thousands of cyclists who show up to ride the same cobbled climbs the pro's do.  With thousands of other dedicated riders on the course, you will constantly be in the midst of the action. Attack on the hills. Fly down the descents. The devoted locals enthusiastically cheer by the side of the road while ringing cowbells as you struggle to get up the steep cobbled climbs.
